Alex Routledge is a UK electronic musician creating immersive, atmospheric music through live performance, improvisation and real-time looping. Blending IDM, ambient electronica, downtempo and psychedelia, his music develops organically from layered synths, rhythms and evolving textures. Using a Yamaha MODX8+, Alex builds and manipulates complex arrangements in real time, allowing spontaneity and improvisation to shape each performance. He is currently developing a series of live electronic recordings capturing these performances as they happen.
