Melanculia is an indie / alternative project by Nino Sable, born in the late 1990s from a childhood split between Portugal's sunlit northern coast and Germany's industrial Ruhr Area. The move from sun and waves in Póvoa de Varzim to the grey chill of Dorsten left a deep mark – Melanculia became the soundtrack for that loss, offering melancholic comfort to anyone who's ever felt uprooted.
